Cecilia is quite a character with a quirky and mischievous personality
(I swear, she was a LaMancha in a previous life!) that everyone seems
to enjoy ... her penmates, not so much! Cecilia was the 2nd place Senior
Kid at the 2005 ADGA National Show and was also named the 2005 INBA
All American Senior Kid. After a late freshening in July, Cecilia was
only shown on a very limited basis, but she certainly made us proud.
She's undefeated in her class (and for 1st Udder) and was easily a
contender in the GCH line-up; earning a GCH leg and a couple RCH wins
to our older girls. Additionally she was 1st with 1st Udder Two
Year-Old at the 2007 Minnesota State Fair and was a member of our 1st
place Dairy Herd and 1st place Breeder's Trio.
Cecilia is a very powerful, yet stylish young doe who has tremendous body capacity for her age. She is wide in
the chest floor, deep in the heart girth and well sprung through the
barrel. Her mammary is very snuggly attached, held high and wide into
the escutcheon with good extension to the fore udder. She has correct
teat size, however we would like to see better placement. We take this
minor detail into consideration when we plan her breedings.
