 You
just can’t help but notice Santa Cruz. She grabs your
attention as soon as she steps into the show ring. She’s
beautiful and so correct in structure, strong in feet and
legs, level over the topline and rump, and smoothly blended
throughout. She has a flawless mammary that is very high and
wide in the rear and seamlessly blended in the fore with a
strong medial complete with excellent placement of teats. Add
to that a large, deep angular body with incredible openness
and flatness of bone… what do you get? Pretty darned near a
complete package!
Not many people realize that Santa Cruz
came to us as a baby - a preordered kid from the Kastdemur
herd with trust in sending us an animal that would be
something we could be proud of, that would be with us for the
long run and make both them and us proud. Santa Cruz has done
all that and more; 1st place with 2nd Udder at the 2006 ADGA
National Show, appraised EX92 (EEEE) and many times GCH and
BIS over the years, in addition to earning Top Ten Breed
Leader status in all three categories.
She's so sweet, and in tune with me ...
breathtaking (literally) and loves her strawberry daiquiris
(and margaritas)! You see, Santa Cruz isn't just a pretty
face, she's a beautiful, very correct, lovely uddered doe that
can and has stood up to lots of competition successfully over
the years. To have this doe accomplish what she has; to win her National Show class, to appraise
EX92,
to produce over 3500#... We couldn’t be more proud and
honored to have her as a member of our herd.
